Carrollton Pottery Company

The Carrollton Pottery Company was one of the early Ohio pottery companies and operated from 1903 through the early 1930's. They later became a part of the American China Corporation in 1929, according to Lois Lehner's Encyclopedia of U.S. Marks on Pottery, Porcelain and Clay.

The new firm was short lived, and the American Chinaware Corporation filed for bankruptcy after only a few years. On November 15, 1932, the company ceased operations.

Vintage From Paul is delighted to offer these stunning, antique Cup and Saucer Sets from the Carrollton Potteries. The Carrollton Pottery Co 1903 Gold Garland Cup & Saucer Sets have a pristine white body. There is gilding at the rim and gold detailing on the handle of the tea cup. The gold garland, composed of small leaves, is in a swag; underling the swag is a double gold banding.

The underside of the Cup and Saucers are marked in green block letters "Carrollton China"

The saucers measure 5-5/8 inches in diameter. The tea cups stand 2-1/16 inches in height and measure 3-1/2 inches in diameter at the top.

Each of the available Carrollton Pottery Co 1903 Gold Garland Cup & Saucer Sets is in excellent condition having no chips, cracks, or signs of repair. The gold detailing shows little if any wear.
