The Campbell, Jones & Company of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania (1863 to 1886) and later merely was called the Jones, Cavin & Company from 1886-1891. The factory burned down in 1891. Some of the surviving molds were purchased by the U.S. Glass Company.

The scalloped rim has a mass of "dewdrops" on the underside, which is a nice foil for the verbiage done in clear glass. The inner verge is made from subtle ribbing which leads the eye inward to the "sheaf of wheat", which also has dew drops to form the head of the sheaf.
