The luncheon plate has an elaborate embossed rim of flowing floral vines and cartouches.  The center of the plate has a hand painted full bloom pink rose, small yellow flowers accented with green foliage.  There is the signature of the artist "J. Hackley".

The Adams Swansea Rose Luncheon Plates measure 9-1/4 inches in diameter.

The back stamp, done in red has the Adams crown and "Swansea Rose, Adams Est 1657, England, 7613F".
