It's shape is similar to a Fiesta Disc pitcher but this piece has a series of raised bands that cross the sides. The rectangular base measures 4-1/4 inches X 5-1/4 inches and is unglazed

The Alamo Pottery Sculptured Aqua Tan Glaze Disc Pitcher is in mint condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. It does have a glaze pop on the ice lip.

The under side of the  Alamo Pottery Sculptured Aqua Tan Glaze Disc Pitcher carries the stamped Alamo Pottery Mark and "San Antonio 7 60"

Alamo Pottery pieces were made from 1945-1951. The glazes developed by the company never crazed and made it very marketable. The company closed in 1951 due to the high cost of storing and shipping. The owners moved to Gilmer, Texas and founded Gilmer Pottery after the closing of Alamo Pottery. Many of the pieces are similar to Alamo pottery pieces and are often mistaken for the same.
