The Rune pattern has a green base with a heavy glaze effect on the flat surface of the plates. Rune got its name from the decoration which is a very old Nordic design. Bing & Grondahl Stoneware Rune were bought from the competitor Kronjyden, Nissen. Designed by Jens Harald Quistgaard and is oven and dishwasher safe.

The Bing & Grondahl Nissen Kronjyden Rune Stoneware Salad Plate measures 7-5/8 inches in diameter. It is marked in black with "Nissen, Rune, Denmark"
