Vintage From Paul is delighted to offer these Eames Era Two (2) Quart Covered Casseroles from Fire King as designed by Georges Briard.

The lid features a knob handle on top, the bowl has 2 handles. Both the bowl and the lid have a gold trim on the glass body. The bottom of the casserole is clear glass with a wide gold banding. The lid has alternating pears and apples done in deep rust and brown, richly accented with gold.

The lid bears the signature of Georges Briard, also done in gold.

The Briard Fire King Eames Era Golden Harvest Covered Casseroles stands 3 inches in height without the lid in place, 5 inches with the lid in place.The bowl measures 8-1/2 inches in diameter. The capacity is Two (2) Quarts.

The Briard Fire King Eames Era Golden Harvest Covered Casseroles is in Excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, scratches, crazing or other defects noted. The graphics are sharp and clear, gold nearly intact...the know shows mild rubbing to the gold.
