TheCopeland Spode Rose Briar Cup & Saucer Sets have a Chelsea basket weave on the border of the plate which has scalloped edges. The center is a vibrant ring of lavender, yellow and red flowers. The cups also have the Rose Briar pattern on the interior and a smaller version of the floral on the handles.

Copeland Spode Rose Briar was manufactured from 1932 to 1971. It is listed as pattern number 7896.

The underside of the Copeland Spode Rose Briar Cup & Saucer Sets are marked in red with; "Copeland Spode England, "Rose Briar"; they also carry the incised Copeland Spode mark. Due to the hallmark and incising, we date these pieces to be from the 1930's, when this mark was used.

The Copeland Spode Rose Briar Cups stand 2 inches in height, the Copeland Spode Rose Briar Saucers measure 5-1/2 inches in diameter.
