The Crooksville China Company was established in Crooksville, Ohio, in 1902 and made semi-porcelain dinnerware and kitchenware. The company began having financial difficulties in the late 1950s, due to competition from Japanese imports and plastic dinnerware manufacturers, and closed its doors in 1959. Crooksville pottery products were of a top grade of semi-porcelain. They are also known for fine decal decorations which are beginning to attract collector attention.

Vintage From Paul is delighted to offer these Mint condition,Crooksville Pottery Pink Floral La Grande Dinner Plates. The hallmark on the under side indicates that these plates were manufactured in the late 1930's to early 1940's.

The La Grande shape was used by Crooksville for a multitude of patterns as the raised rope edging with a smaller raised rope at the inner verge, was versatile for different designs.
