We are delighted to offer this Mint condition Dept 56 Dicken's Village Theatre Royale.

The Dept 56 Dicken's Village Theatre Royale was displayed once and has spent the last several years carefully stored.

The beautiful gabled roof and red brick chimneys are a perfect topping for the white stucco of this building. When I think of a the theatre I always think of a creative person, and this building does have a flair.

The front of the Dept 56 Dicken's Village Theatre Royale has two bright red doors set in a green stucco. To protect the patrons there is a deep golden brown over hang decorated with a festive evergreen swag and seasonal bells.

The side and the back of the Dept 56 Dicken's Village Theatre Royale are done in white stucco with hewn brown beams .

The Dept 56 Dicken's Village Theatre Royale is in MINT condition, with no chips, cracks, scratches or other defect noted. The original light cord and bulb are also included.

In 1984 Department 56 introduced its first porcelain village the Dickens' Village. Named for the famous author Charles Dickens, it features buildings and accessories based on Victorian England and depicts the places and people one might visualize while reading one of his novels. Several of Dickens' stories have been the basis for the village's designs including: Nicholas Nickleby, David Copperfield, Oliver Twist, The Old Curiosity Shop, and especially A Christmas Carol. The Dickens' Village portrays all that is England including countryside pieces with thatched roofs, maritime pieces, beautiful churches, formidable castles and palaces, and some of the nation's most famous structures.
