Federal Glass Lidded Vegetable Glass Refrigerator Box
Vintage From Paul is delighted to offer this lovely rectangular refrigerator dish with lid in the discontinued #FEG18 pattern manufactured by the Federal Glass Company circa 1940.
Production continued into the 1970s when Federal Glass closed its factory and the molds were purchased by Indiana Glass.
This clear, pressed glass pattern features on the lid, intaglio vegetable designs including corn, asparagus, tomato, carrots and celery stalks done in relief. The base of the refrigerator box is ribbed both on the sides and the bottom. Federal produced a matching 3 part relish tray.
This Federal Glass Lidded Vegetable Glass Refrigerator Box measures 8-1/2 inches in length, 4-1/4 inches in width and it stands 3-1/4 inches in height.
The Federal Glass Lidded Vegetable Glass Refrigerator Box is in excellent condition with only two corners having tiny chips/roughness to them. Just a lovely piece of vintage Federal Glass that you are sure to want to add to your kitchen glassware collection.
