Vintage From Paul is delighted to offer theserarely seen Fostoria, Kettlesprings Kilns Bicentennial Festival, Blue Transferware Plates. These plates date to 1976.

Kettlesprings Kilns, located in Alliance Ohio has been manufacturing commemorative plates since the 1950's.Kettlesprings Kilns develop the artwork for celebrations, centennials, bicentennials, reunions, church groups, festivals. They also design custom fundraiser plates, mugs, tiles, and bells. The art is then applied to high quality porcelain and fired until the product vitrifies.

The Fostoria Kettlespring Kilns Bicentennial Blue Transferware Plate have a creamy white porcelain body with blue transferware graphics depicting the "scenes of Fostoria Ohio".

The back of the Fostoria Kettlespring Kilns Bicentennial Blue Transferware Plate are marked in green with "The villages of Rome and Risdon were platted in 1815. The villages combined into one entity in 1854 and became known as Fostoria Ohio. This plate depicts scenes of Fostoria's past and present. The scene drawings were from the pen of Fostoria artist Dan Droll, while the official logo was the rendering of Linda Insley, of Fostoria. Plate Distributed by Fostoria '76, Inc.
