Ovide was the official name Hazel Atlas assigned to their plain dinnerware line. Originally, the dinnerware was made in green transparent (depression glass). After the introduction of Platonite in the mid 1930s, Hazel Atlas produced a variety of color schemes using the Ovide blanks.

Each of the available Hazel Atlas Ovide Platonite Orange Deep Bowls is in Pristine Condition, with no chips, cracks, scratches, crazing or other defects noted. These Hazel Atlas Ovide Platonite Orange Deep Bowls appear to have never been used!

Please note, these Hazel Atlas Ovide Platonite Orange Deep Bowls are not the Moderntone pattern, but they are Ovide. Ovide is rounded with a stylish simplicity.
