Vintage From Paul is pleased to offer this antique Imperial Glass EAPG NuCut Whirling Star Pickle or Relish Dish with a scalloped sawtooth rim. The pressing is well defined and deep, with the intricate pattern design providing am astounding reflection of light.

On either of t he two ends of the  Imperial Glass EAPG NuCut Whirling Star Pickle Relish Dish is a large whirling star. In the center of the pickle or relish dish is a column of three hobstars separated by an elongated diamond, each of which containing a small daisy.

The Imperial Glass EAPG NuCut Whirling Star Pickle Relish Dish was manufactured between 1911 to 1932. In the center of the pickle dish there can clearly be seen "NUCUT".

On the registration application for the NUCUT mark, Imperial claimed to have been using this mark as early as 1911. The application was filed March 17, 1913 and approval was granted on September 15, 1914. (#99,747) Only the basic NUCUT design with 'tail' appears marked on glass. The word 'trade mark' on the 'tail' appears in advertising and catalogs. The NUCUT mark was removed from all moulds c.1932.

The Imperial Glass EAPG NuCut Whirling Star Pickle Relish Dish is in superb condition with no chips or cracks. The saw tooth edge is intact, the glass sparkling.
