Vintage From Paul is delighted to offer this antique Gold Stained Sugar Bowl from Indiana Glass in the Bosc Pear pattern.

The Indiana Glass Gold Stained Bosc Pear Sugar Bowl can be seen on page 25 of "A Century of Indiana Glass" by Craig Schenning".

Bosc Pear is listed as pattern number 150, and was manufactured from 1913 to 1917. The Indiana Bosc Pear pattern is very similar to Baltimore Pear which was manufactured by Adams Glass Company, U.S. Glass and Jeanette Glass

The pattern is crystal clear EAPG glass with naturally Bosc Pears and their leaves raised from the glass, Looking down into the sugar bowl there is the same design done on the under side. The raised pears and their foliage lend themselves to gold flashing

The Indiana Glass Gold Stained Bosc Pear Sugar Bowl is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, signs of repair or other defects noted. The glass is clear and sparkling. The gold flashing does however shows minor wear, which is not unusual for a piece of this age.

The Indiana Glass Gold Stained Bosc Pear Sugar Bowl stands 4 inches in height, measures 5-3/4 inches from handle to handle. The upper bowl diameter is 3-3/4 inches, the base diameter is 2-1/4 inches.
