The Stained Glass pattern mimics actual stained glass with blue berries, yellow fruit and green leaves outlined in a raised black glass. The handles which clip on the upper rim and enfold around the base  is gold toned metal.  The gold toned metal handle easily detaches to make cleaning easier as well as making the cup itself safe for the microwave.
