McCoy Pottery Graystone Six Cup Teapot
Vintage From Paul is delighted to offer this pristine condition Six (6) cup Teapot in the Graystone pattern from the McCoy Potteries.
In 1974 David Chase, owner of McCoy Pottery (Mt. Clemens Pottery), sold the company to Lancaster Colony Corporation. Nelson McCoy was one of it's Presidents and also of what was called Nelson McCoy Potteries along with the initials LLC which were added to the logo.
McCoy was sold in 1985 to Designer Accents. The Graystone pattern (circa 1978) is a tan, almost caramel color, drip on ivory ground with brown speckles.
The McCoy Pottery Graystone Six Cup Teapot stands 5 inches in height without the lid in place, 6 inches in height with the lid in place. It measures 8-1/2 inches from handle to spout; the upper bowl diameter is 5-1/8 inches.
The bottom of the McCoy Pottery Graystone Six Cup Teapot is impressed with "1418, McCoy, McCoy, LCC, USA.The teapot is in pristine and unused condition with no defects noted.
