Vintage from Paul is pleased to offer these delightful Metlox Poppytrail Lotus Medium Blue Covered Sugar Bowls. Metlox Pottery started in Manhattan Beach, CA in 1927 as a manufacturer of ceramic housewares. "Poppytrail" was the first line of pottery produced, named for it's brightly colored glazes. The Lotus pattern resembles a large cabbage leaf, and was produced from 1974 to the early 80s. These colorful dishes are all hand painted, so there are variations from plate to plate.

Metlox Pottery began in 1927 in Manhattan Beach, California and grew to become one of California's premier pottery companies. There were two divisions within Metlox, the Poppytrail Division and the Vernonware Division (due to Metlox's purchase of Vernon Kilns in 1942). Metlox closed in 1989.

Each of the available Metlox Poppytrail Lotus Medium Blue Covered Sugar Bowls is in pristine condition with no defects noted.

The Metlox Poppytrail Lotus Medium Blue Covered Sugar Bowls stand 2-1/2 inches in height without the lid in place, 4 inches in height with the  lid in place.  The upper bowl measures 5 inches in diameter.
