We are pleased to offer this delightful Metlox Poppytrail Navajo Serving Platter. The Metlox Poppytrail Navajo Serving Platter was manufactured from 1956 to 1961.

Metlox Pottery began in 1927 in Manhattan Beach, California and grew to become one of California's premier pottery companies. There were two divisions within Metlox, the Poppytrail Division and the Vernonware Division (due to Metlox's purchase of Vernon Kilns in 1942). Metlox closed in 1989.

Metlox started producing the Navajo pattern in 1956 using the Navajo/Tempo Shape. It has a white background with a turquoise southwestern-flavored pattern around the edge. The finish is a satin glaze.

The Metlox Poppytrail Navajo Serving Platter is in Mint condition with no defects noted.

The Metlox Poppytrail Navajo Serving Platter measures 15 inches in length, 9-1/2 inches in width and is marked with "Poppytrail by Metlox, Made in California".
