The heart shaped dish is new, unused, pristine condition, in the original Portmeirion signature box.

The Portmeirion Botanic Garden pattern was created in 1972 by Susan Williams-Ellis who founded Portmeirion Pottery in 1960. The Botanic Garden has about 73 different floral renderings available.  The signature of each piece is the green laurel leaf banding as welll as both the common and botanical name for each of the flowers.

This heart shaped Botanic Garden dish features the ""Cistus Purpureus" of the Purple Rock Rose.

Portmeirion Botanic Garden has and will continue to be a treasured collectible series to be passed down thru the generations.
