The Currier & Ives Brown Glass Tankards have a wide satin banding against which the particular scene is set, done in shades of brown, black and white.  Each of the tumblers has a placard identifying the scene and detailing that it is from a "Lithographic Print by Currier & Ives"

The Currier & Ives Brown Glass Tankards stand 5-1/2  inches in diameter and they have a 13 fluid ounce capacity.
