Vintage From Paul is delighted to offer these stunning Royal Copenhagen Gemina Tea Cups.

Royal Copenhagen Gemina, pattern number 41 was designed by Gertrud Vasegaard.  With its clean lines and superb craftmanship, Gemina was manufactured from 1969  to 1990.

Gertrud Vasegaard, is a remarkable representative of a widespread tendency in modern Danish ceramics. The shapes from which she started were those of basic utility objects such as bowls, vases and cups. In 1948 she was appointed to the Bing &  Grøndahl Porcelain Manufactory, and with the new glazing being produced there she ensured that the stoneware mass can be felt in such a way that the textural effect of the material once more comes into its own.

Her decorations consist of simple ornamentation, engraved, pressed or painted in contrasting colors. Gertrud Vasegaard created two porcelain services for Royal Copenhagen in white and blue-white Gemona & Gemma.

Each available Royal Copenhagen Gemina Tea Cup is in Mint condition with no chips, cracks or other defects noted. The graphics are crisp, the colors vibrant.

The Royal Copenhagen Gemina Tea Cups stand 2-5/8 inches in height.
