Silver City from Meriden, Connecticut,did most of the silver on Caprice and Cascade pieces, and the silver is beautiful and highly polished.. Silver City did their decorating up until the mid-1950's, when most of the other silver companies had disappeared. They stayed in business because no other US companies were still doing overlay. Their pieces almost always said "Sterling" in the silver.
