Vintage From Paul is pleased to offer these classic Syracuse Adobe Econo Rim Divided Buffet or Picnic Plates.  The Buffet or Picnic plates were equally divided into four sections, and in the center a circular portion which would gold the matching cup.

From the date code 5-V, these plates were manufactured in May of 1941.

The Syracuse Econo Rim was shape introduced in 1933. This type of Syracuse China easily identifiable by the raised edging that is formed around the rim of the piece. Was used quite often in railroad china. The idea behind it was to make smaller sized dishes which could hold larger quantities of food for use on Railroad dining cars were space was at a premium. Pieces were made and sold to the general restaurant marketplace as well.
