The Villeroy & Boch Design Naif Winter Laplau Wall Plate has a pristine white body, raised rim accented with a black stripe.  The focal point is the center rendering of a lovely winter pastoral scene with a orange winter sky in the background, and  a snow covered village in the foreground.

Gerard Laplau. Mr. Laplau had created a Christmas Card for UNICEF. Villeroy & Boch saw this card and commissioned him to create a pattern in its likeness. In 1979, “Design Naif” was born. Talk about a design that stands the test of time!
