The origins of Wedgwood Creamware date back to 1765, when Queen Charlotte of Great Britain, the wife of King George III, appointed Josiah Wedgwood to the official post of "potter to Her Majesty Queen Charlotte" and permitted him to name his creamy earthenware "Queen's Ware."
The graceful style of the Patrician Collection continues Josiah Wedgwood's enterprising vision of beauty and practicality. Suitable for formal dining or for everyday use, the wide rims feature an elegant raised pattern... Microwave- and dishwasher-safe. Made in England.

The Tea Cups stand 2-1/2 inches in height while the saucers measure 6 inches in diameter. The pieces are hallmarked with "Wedgwood of Etruria & Barlaston, Made In England, Patrician, USA Des Pat74009". The saucers also have incised "Wedgwood, 6 L 58"
