We are pleased to offer this sparkling 14 Inch Torte Plate/Platter in the Thousand Eye pattern from the Westmmoreland Glass Company.

The pattern is listed as Line #1000, Code TE-58. Westmoreland produced this pattern line from 1934 until the 1950s.

The piece has the signature diamond designs between the "eyes."

These torte plates are considered scarce according to Lorraine Kovar's book of Westmoreland Glass. There are no chips or cracks present. The center portion has use marks (noticeable when held to light). According to the book, these are common because the ground bottom causes light scratching when the pieces are stacked.

This is a nice serving piece to add to a Thousand Eye collection.
